Trench warfare is not as goood as it looks. It smells, it's wet, it's dirty, it's cold. There are rats running wild, and many people's feet are rotting away for trench foot. You can't stick your head up to see where you are shooting or you will most likely be shot by the British.
The second battle of Gaza was good for us. We held off the British and held our ground. They used gas shells on us and they even had tanks. The British suffered many casualties. 6,444 to be exact. We only suffered a third of that figure.
I hope you are safe and healthy. I will come home soon...I hope If the British attack us again, I don't know how long we will last. Our Morral is is high from our victory and this war will be over sooner than you think
